Peggy O. ReidSenior Bookkeeper and Tax Professional
Peggy has a “nose” for detective work. She can review a client’s in-house bookkeeping system and determine where the problems are and trouble-shoot them. Peggy’s diversified background includes working under CPA owners of a start-up company, Dial Page (Accounting Manager), accounting for Greenville County Recreation Commission, Corporate Controller for Nehi-Royal Crown Bottling Company and as Accounting Director and Medicare Billings for Rolling Green Retirement Village. She is proficient in QuickBooks, MAS 90, ACS and other client software programs, and is responsible for review of client data for completeness and accuracy. For example, she finds that clients often fail to enter the charges from their charge card statements or other transactions in their books, missing legitimate tax deductions.
Peggy is an expert at setting up new accounting systems that will grow with the company as it becomes more successful. Her duties with the firm since 2004 have also included client training, tax preparation, payroll check preparation services, and full accounting for two churches.
Peggy spends lots of her time with her three grandchildren and enjoys running and sports – especially college football– Go Gamecocks!”
